What’s different about us?
Evidence-Based: We combine original research with data from sources such as Gallup, The American Psychiatric and Psychological Associations, Deloitte, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We study companies that achieve measurable returns from higher employee wellbeing.
Focus On Returns: Our strategies help employers see measurable returns on investment and a happier, more productive, and engaged workforce. This helps employers justify investments in workplace wellbeing by pursuing activities that deliver the most impact for the least cost and resources.
Cultural Approach: Wellbeing programs do not succeed in unsupportive cultures. We help employers build intentional workplace cultures that support employee wellbeing and lead to higher participation and engagement as employees work with a greater purpose, pride, and satisfaction.
Multi-Disciplinary Team: Our thinking is not based on a single company, individual, or approach. We combine the collective thinking of experts and authorities to address all aspects of employee wellbeing as a comprehensive business strategy.
Educating Employers: We help CEOs, C Suites, and Boards understand the connection between wellbeing and business outcomes. Our resources show management why wellbeing can help meet top objectives, such as lowering turnover, boosting employee engagement, and improving customer service.
Returns On Wellbeing Institute operates as a socially responsible company. Our services and programs are designed to advance workplace wellbeing to benefit employees and their families, local communities, and the global economy, while helping employers become more competitive and profitable.
Our company contributes 2% of revenues to related social causes through Global Initiative to Advance Entrepreneurship (GIVE), a nonprofit launched by our co-founder Steven Van Yoder. Moreover, our founders and contractors contribute hundreds of hours and significant financial contributions each year to domestic and international causes.
Returns On Wellbeing Institute is facilitating a national movement to improve employee wellbeing. We advocate for living wages and adequate benefits and help employers in local communities with pro-bono consulting to boost employee wellbeing, especially for lower-paid employees and their families.
Through our thought leadership, we educate business leaders on employee wellbeing as a socially responsible business strategy. We conduct original research projects to identify best practices from companies that embrace workplace wellbeing as a core business strategy.
